Location

You will travel a 2.7 km section of Melrose Hill Road starting at the intersection of Meagher Road (coming from Brook Village) and the Hayes River Road (coming from Lake Ainsley). A turn in the road and a bridge marks the intersection of these 3 roads.

Camping at Big Belle Farm




We use Hipcamp.com as our campsite reservation system. We offer three types of camping. Click the underlined text below to reserve the type of campsite you prefer.

1. You can pick a spot in the mowed hayfields for a tent / campervan / truckcamper for $25 + hipcamp service fees and taxes.

NOTE TO 2026 CAPES 100 RUNNERS: The tent camping photos on Hipcamp show field areas that are generally available for camping. After we mow and bale our hay, other field areas open up for camping. We have baled the hay on our front and back fields so runners can camp closer to our barn if you prefer. There is alot more areas for tent camping now.

2. You can pick a spot in the mowed hayfields beside our camping road for your RV, Motorhome or Tow Behind Vehicle for $50 + hipcamp service fees. Book an RV campsite using the link below.

3. New in 2025 is tent camping in 5 designated woodland areas on our property. These sites give you shade and some protection from winds. Located next to our hayfields, these woodland sites give you both a forest and farmland experience. Cost is $25 plus hipcamp service fees and taxes.
